Aqara Door and Window Sensor

• Hub Requirements:
  • Requires an Aqara Hub (M2, M1S, E1, M1S Gen2, Camera Hub G2H Pro/G2H, or Camera Hub G3) for functionality; hubs from other brands are not supported.
  • 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is required for most hubs, with 2.4/5 GHz support available for the Camera Hub G3. The M2 hub can also connect via Ethernet (RJ45).
• Proximity for Reliable Connection:
  • Ensure the Door and Window Sensor is within 400 inches of the Aqara Hub and that the hub is within the same range from the Wi-Fi router. Both should be on the same local network (LAN) for a stable connection.
• Unauthorized Entry Detection & Home Automation:
  • The Door and Window Sensor triggers alerts to your phone and activates a local alarm on the Aqara Hub if an unexpected entry is detected.
  • It integrates with other Aqara devices, enabling automations through the Aqara Home app. For example, you can set it to turn on lights with an Aqara Wall Switch when a door is opened in the evening.
• 0.86 Inch Wide Gap Compatibility:
  • Designed to work with doors, windows, cabinets, drawers, and similar fixtures, the sensor allows for gaps up to 0.86 inches.
  • Dimensions: Main sensor unit – 1.61 x 0.87 x 0.43 inches; Magnet – 0.79 x 0.39 x 0.39 inches.
  • Note: Ensure the surface is flat and adhesive-friendly for proper sensor installation.
• Voice Control:
  • Compatible with Apple HomeKit and Alexa for hands-free use.
  • Note: Connect the sensor to the Aqara Hub before linking to HomeKit or enabling Google Home/Alexa skills. Currently not compatible with SmartThings.
